Part # 10-1032 is a shorter 40 gallon tank and will work for 170" Crew Vans and vans with plumbing behind the tank

Important: The fuel gauge will only work accurately on vans with the J51 fuel gauge (optimized for aux. fuel tap). Please call your Mercedes dealer to confirm if you have this option. If you don’t have it, you will need TI1349-00. 

When using the auxiliary fuel tap on stock tanks, tap stops pulling fuel around 1/4 tank. With the S&B Tank, it will stop pulling fuel around 1/3-1/2 tank.
